Covering Costs
To support all of the above listed promotion activities, we are asking each family to make a one-time contribution of $50. The Taylor PTA generously covers the remaining expenses. Contributions are requested by March 1 and can be made via the Taylor PTA website at LINK. We have included options for families to contribute more or less, and any amount is greatly appreciated.

Baby Photo Wall
As in past years, we plan to display our 5th graders’ baby photos in the main hallway at Taylor. Kids enjoy trying to identify their classmates. Please email one baby photo by March 15 to this address: 5thgradepromotion2026@gmail.com. Please use this file naming convention for each photo: Student Name_Classroom Teacher Name_Photo # (e.g., Jane Hill_Hadley-Barrett Class_1).

Ceremony Photo Slideshow
A key feature of the promotion ceremony will be a photo slideshow showcasing memorable moments our students have experienced at Taylor. We kindly request that submitted photos reflect Taylor events rather than external activities, and may include individual students or groups. Parent are welcome to send up to six photos representing years from Kindergarten through Grade 5 by March 15 to: 5thgradepromotion2026@gmail.com. Please use this file naming convention for each photo: Student Name_Classroom Teacher Name_Photo # (e.g., Jane Hill_Hadley-Barrett Class_2).
If you do not want your child to be represented in the promotion slide show due to privacy concerns, please email us at 5thgradepromotion2026@gmail.com to opt out. The slideshow will be shared with families after the promotion.

5th Grade Pool Party
The pool party will take place at Donaldson Run Pool on Friday, June 8. The kids will walk from Taylor to the pool and enjoy pizza and snacks.

Class Gift to Taylor
Each graduating class at Taylor leaves behind a gift to the school. Past gifts have included the picnic tables near the trailers, a paver path from the main building to the trailers, the Spirit rock, and more. We are excited to consider something special for Taylor Tigers to enjoy for years to come.
Graduation Swag
Students will receive branded t-shirts and yard signs to help celebrate their promotion. These items will feature original student artwork, selected by their peers.
